E-learning - share and build knowledge internally
E-learning is an effective tool not only for skills development but also for building understanding and buy-in on key issues in an organization. Many studies show that e-learning is as effective for learning as traditional teaching. With the right combination of inspiring tasks, problem solving, images, graphics, video, text and audio, and a flexible digital platform, many exciting solutions can be created.
Resource efficient for all parties
One of the advantages of e-learning is that it is a resource-efficient implementation method. The need for increased efficiency in organizations has made it more difficult to send staff away for days of training. At the same time, the need for training has not decreased. Bringing training together online allows more participants to be reached than in face-to-face training sessions. It costs less and gives participants the flexibility to complete the training at their own pace.
Easy to adapt materials to participants
E-learning works equally well for internal and external training. It is easy to scale up and scale down the material to suit different types of participants. The management team and the salesperson have different needs in their professional roles and are motivated by knowledge that simplifies their respective daily lives. It is important to create incentives to participate in the training, for example by offering different certifications for retailers, or spreading out the courses over a longer period of time.
The right pedagogy for e-learning
At Navigator, we have been working with e-learning for the past 15 years for a wide range of national and international companies. Our creators and strategists are trained in adult pedagogy in collaboration with Malmö University and have a good understanding of the learning methods required for skills development. We know that it is important to work in short modules of max 20-25 minutes and build in motivational mechanisms such as competitions and point systems to keep participants engaged and motivated. And of course, the modules should be both relevant and user-friendly to achieve the best possible results. Here you can see our e-learning partners.
