New Scouting episode - How MFF works to be on top when things turn around
The pandemic has posed many challenges to MFF's wide range of activities. Financially, it has affected everything from audience revenue to the rental of conference rooms at the stadium. But perhaps the most important challenge has been to keep all employees, players and young people motivated. In this episode of Pejling, MFF's CEO Niclas Carlnén describes how they have lifted their sights, planned ahead and found new paths to success. "It's a tough balancing act to hold on with your heels while at the same time you need to be on your toes to have momentum when things turn around. We think we've done well given the circumstances."
In this conversation with Niclas, we go behind the scenes at MFF. We find out more about how the entire broad business has been affected by the pandemic and what they are doing to continue to develop and be ready when it takes off.
- MFF has recently started a collaboration with Skåne Stadsmission. What is it that drives the ambition to be involved and take responsibility despite having a tough time yourself?
- Chef Peter Skogström has been hired for the restaurant and event part of the arena. When do you hope that these activities will bear fruit?
- MFF has set up a digital broadcasting studio to help maintain relationships with supporters. How has the pandemic accelerated digitalization?
- MFF is involved in both football high schools and football academies with several affiliated schools. How do you maintain engagement when much of it is done remotely?
The video is about 15 minutes long and ends with Niclas sending a current question to the next interviewee.
