More than just football - how to boost 1910 Events' online visibility
Navigator has for several years worked closely with Malmö FF and their event organization - 1910 Event. Through a strategic partnership, Navigator works to strengthen the organization's brand and create engaging content for their digital channels.
Malmö FF's own event organization
1910 Event works, in addition to the arrangements around Malmö FF's home matches, also with organizing external events, parties and conferences at Eleda Stadium. Most events are held in the large 1910 banquet hall, which can seat 2,000 guests, but smaller and more intimate events are also organized in other premises, such as Erics restaurant, the supporters' square and the Champions Lounge.
"Most people probably associate Eleda Stadium with football, and many do not know that it is possible to organize events here. Being able to tell more people that we exist is very important in order to expand our business and grow," says Camilla Ahlin Nilsson, event manager at 1910 Event.
Content for digital channels
Navigator's collaboration with 1910 Event stretches back many years, and over the years a number of different communication projects have been carried out, including brand strategy, graphic identity and inbound marketing. Today, the work focuses mainly on increasing the organization's brand awareness by creating content for the digital channels - web and LinkedIn.
For the web, it is mainly about inspirational articles that highlight examples of successful events and parties that have been carried out by 1910 Event. Sometimes Navigator is involved in documenting the events on site, and sometimes interviews with 1910 and the event clients take place afterwards.
Red thread with a clear graphic design
In addition to inspirational articles, content is also created for LinkedIn. In 2024, a special graphic style was developed for LinkedIn, where templates for different content types were created. These included templates for slideshows, information carousels and employee portraits. In 2024, the templates have been used to create interesting posts about everything from food and drink to the TV studio and summer parties.
"The graphic style makes our posts more coherent and gives them a clearer thread. Our followers now pay more attention to our posts, and this has also created a greater recognition factor. In addition, they are very stylish and give us both a more professional and personal expression," says Camilla.
Engaging content
Being personal and standing out in the noise is crucial to succeed on LinkedIn. Combining a thoughtful graphic style with engaging content creates posts that both grab attention and build a stronger relationship with followers. It's a strategy that not only makes your posts stand out - but also creates engagement.
