Say hello to our new colleague, Ola!

29 Nov, 2023

In October, Ola Larsén joined us as a communications strategist at Navigator. Ola has extensive experience in the tech industry and will help our customers with their digital challenges.

What is the best thing about working in communication?

Meeting so many different customers and quickly getting into their worlds to understand what their pain points are. Finding what it is that hurts and using your experience to solve their challenges in a creative way.

What is exciting about the Navigator?

It is an agency with a clear strategic and creative focus, while the agency has an interesting mix of clients with both global industrial companies and regional tech companies. I believe that my expertise in performance marketing can add value to the agency and that together we can help clients develop their digital customer journeys.

What is your background?

I have a rather diverse educational background, having studied philosophy, communication and economics. I worked in the tech industry for 20 years before making the move to the agency world a few years ago. It's a move I don't regret because it gives me the opportunity to help many different clients with their communication and digital presence.

What experiences do you bring with you here?

That you are never finished learning. I like to say that the day I stop being curious is the day I will retire. I enjoy learning new things and finding new ways to solve customers' challenges. It gives me a positive energy to go out of my comfort zone and stretch myself a bit. I believe that to be a successful communicator, you need to challenge yourself, your colleagues and your customers.

Do you do anything exciting in your spare time?

I create electronic music under the artist name Tegel and at home I have a whole room full of synthesizers. I also write books and recently my second novel "The Twin Paradox" was published. Apart from that, I like to kayak, either here in Öresund or in the lake by our summer house.

Tell us something about yourself that many people don't know?

I have a great interest in digital trends and usually lecture on the phenomenon at various external events. One trend that I find particularly exciting right now is voicesearch. Many users today talk to search engines instead of writing, which will affect the way we create content online.
