Navigator supported Hockey Day - 1.2 million raised

30 Jan, 2024

Last Saturday, Malmö Redhawks organized Hockeyns Dag, the club's annual free game where money is raised for charity. We at Navigator supported the day, and together we raised over 1.2 million SEK for the charity organization Min Stora Dag and Malmö Redhawks youth activities.

Hockeyns Dag is a concept that has been around for a long time and means that Malmö Redhawks annually invites to a free match where the tickets are financed by companies and donated to charity. In recent years, Hockeyns Dag has collaborated with the charity organization Min Stora Dag, which fulfills the wishes of seriously ill children.

12 000 people on site

On Saturday, January 20, it was time for this year's edition of Hockeyns Dag, which attracted a large audience. Over 12,000 spectators were on site in Malmö Arena to take part in the match. There were also 11 excited children from My Big Day in the arena, who together had a full day filled with surprises - everything from signing a contract with sports director Björn Liljander to meeting both players and mascot Hawkan.

1.2 million was raised

Together, over SEK 1.2 million was raised, which was divided between My Big Day and Malmö Redhawks youth activities. During the match, Min Stora Dag also organized its own lottery that raised over SEK 20,000. A successful day that created many great memories.

For us at Navigator, it is natural to get involved in Malmö's association life, and being able to contribute to a better everyday life for children and young people together with Malmö Redhawks feels extremely important. Thank you Malmö Redhawks for a great collaboration!
