A new line that lifts the façade
Sto Scandinavia and Navigator have started a collaboration. The first project has been to develop a communication platform and a communication concept aimed at architects and construction consultants with a focus on Sto Scandinavia's facade system.
Sto Scandinavia
Sto Scandinavia AB, with around 130 employees, develops, produces and markets products and system solutions in the Façade/Interior and Floor/Concrete (StoCretec) business areas in the Swedish market. The production facility for dry products in Linköping supplies the entire Sto Scandinavia Nordic market with concrete renovation products and floor levelling compounds.
Sto Scandinavia is part of the Sto SE & Co. KGaA, which operates worldwide. The group has about 5,700 employees and a turnover of about EUR 1.7 billion (listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, published figures are from Dec 2023). The headquarters are located in Weizen, Germany.
Focus on facade
The initial project in collaboration with Navigator has involved developing a communication platform, a communication concept and campaign activities aimed at architects and building consultants, with a focus on Sto Scandinavia's system solutions for facades.
"Climate change and rising energy prices are placing increasing demands on energy-efficient facades. When it is time to replace the facade or add insulation, it is important to use insulation that is adapted to today's energy requirements and to the building's conditions to prevent heat loss and provide airtight houses.", says Otto Norling, Marketing Director.
Sto Scandinavia's innovative and sustainable systems for facade insulation and renovation offer many opportunities for both architects and building consultants. The product range consists mainly of paint, plaster, natural stone, glass and decorative profiles.
"Sustainability is important to us at Sto Scandinavia, both when it comes to the development of our products and activities within the company. Our products and systems have contributed to energy efficiency, longer maintenance intervals and longer lifespans for many of our customers for decades," says Otto.
The line that lifts
The fact that Sto Scandinavia has chosen a different, innovative and more sustainable path is something we at Navigator have taken into account in the new concept.
"The ambition was to develop a concept that is flexible, easy to identify and that distinguishes Sto Scandinavia from the competition through a modern and elegant design language. It should appeal to both architects and building consultants while creating interest and presenting Sto Scandinavia as the innovative and qualitative alternative", describes Peter Imhäuser, Client Director at Navigator.
